Our Menu is predominantly Seafood and Plant Based, We aim to host the majority of our spring, summer and early autumn dining, alfresco in our newly built under cover outside dining experience.* All of our dining will be either 6.30 or 7.00pm starts, unfortunately we will not be able to offer any later tables.
Our bedrooms have respected the shape of the original rooms, therefore the rooms are of a very generous size, and have fabulous original features. A sleigh bed under a 1660 pargetted ceiling or a six foot, double ended slipper bath in front of a massive fireplace are two of the highlights. This accommodation is boutique, but in an amazing medieval building, truly unlike any other Hotel bedrooms in Southwold.

Sutherland House is a fascinating building, rich in history and now restored to offer a resplendent child free venue for drinks, meals, functions and fabulous rooms. Under the care of its owners Andy & Kinga Rudd, this fine building has been given a new lease of life and now offers a gorgeous environment with wood burning stoves, rich fabrics, lovingly prepared food and a warm welcome.
