At Chris White Funeral Directors, we have been helping local families at one of the most difficult times since 1880. The business that became Chris White Funeral Directors was founded by Mr Henry Ingram at Goldsworth Road. Chris White Funeral Directors was established in 1982 by Chris White, a reputable local builder who, like many undertakers before him, started his career as a carpenter and progressed into the funeral service business.

Our Wilton funeral home was our first premises opened in 1982. Located in South Street, there is free on-street parking outside along with a council-operated car park close by. In addition there are regular bus services into the city centre. At one of the most emotional and difficult times of your life, our experienced team are here to support you and listen to your needs.
Cremations

Cremations are now the most popular form of funeral. Most people will want a ceremony at the crematorium - using their onsite chapel - but you can also hold the service in a church or other venue of your choice prior to the cremation. It is entirely up to you if you want the service to be religious or non-religious.
