Services
Nature-Inspired Childcare
Our nature-inspired childcare programme immerses children in woodland-themed environments that stimulate sensory development and environmental awareness. Using Steiner-led principles, we create tailored learning experiences that foster creativity, literacy, and physical development through natural resources and outdoor exploration. The curriculum integrates seasonal changes and wildlife habitats to enhance educational outcomes.
Early Years Education
Delivered through the Early Years Foundation Stage framework, our education programme focuses on key developmental areas including communication, physical development, and personal, social, and emotional growth. Themed learning spaces like The Enchanted Garden and Bear Mountain provide age-appropriate environments where children develop literacy skills and mathematical thinking through play-based activities.
Sensory Play Activities
Designed to enhance cognitive and motor skills, our sensory play activities incorporate natural materials, wooden toys, and messy play experiences. These sessions stimulate children's senses through textured resources, science experiments, and creative exploration, supporting neural pathway development while encouraging imaginative interpretation and problem-solving abilities.
Transition Support
Our transition support programme ensures smooth adaptation to nursery life through individualised care routines and gradual integration processes. Practitioners work closely with families to understand each child's needs, implementing consistent approaches that build emotional security and confidence during key developmental transitions like potty training and school readiness.
Parent Partnership
We maintain strong parent partnerships through regular communication and collaborative planning. Our approach includes sharing developmental progress, involving families in activity planning, and providing guidance on supporting learning at home, ensuring continuity between nursery and home environments while fostering children's social and emotional development.

Our boy have developed amazingly since starting just over a year ago here. He loves the days he goes and loves all of the other children too. The team are brilliant and have helped us out with extra days when they have capacity. We wouldn't consider sending our newborn anywhere else when she is old enough to attend. There is plenty of time spent outside having fun and our son LOVES the animals that are kept here, goats, rabbits and recently some chickens. A real credit to the local community and a brilliant place for our little one to grow safely.
