Bespoke Jewellery Design in Plymouth
I am a dedicated jewellery designer with over three decades of experience, specialising in creating bespoke pieces that resonate with the wearer's spirit. My journey began at 18, where I discovered a passion for working with metals and gemstones, evolving into a craft rooted in sustainability and intuition. Each creation is meticulously handcrafted using recycled silver and gold, alongside ethically sourced gemstones, reflecting both nature's beauty and the client's essence. My practice extends beyond jewellery, incorporating spiritual guidance through breath-work and ceremonies, fostering self-discovery and transformation. With a commitment to sustainability, I repurpose inherited or unworn jewellery, preserving sentimental value while crafting new narratives.

My approach blends artistry with a deep understanding of materials, ensuring every piece is unique and meaningful. Over the years, I have refined my skills, embracing both traditional techniques and intuitive design processes. Clients appreciate the personal connection and attention to detail that define my work, making each interaction a collaborative journey. My home studio in Plymouth serves as a sanctuary for creativity, where clients can explore their vision in a welcoming environment. Whether designing for special occasions or guiding individuals through transformative sessions, my focus remains on authenticity and heartfelt craftsmanship.

I have both bought Nicola's amazing jewellery and attended several of her workshops, and both are equally as fabulous!
Nicola's jewellery is beautiful. Whether that be a simple pair of earrings or a statement ring, I absolutely love it. I needed a ring which I bought resized, which was done quickly and perfectly. I have also attended several workshops. The classes are small in number, meaning you all get a good amount of attention for any questions or help needed with your project. They are relaxed and fun, yet professional, and you really come away feeling that you have learnt something and

Small jewellery shop with locally made jewellery, so lots of original work that you won't find anywhere else. A lot of the lovely items are made by the owner, Nicola Hurst, who is always very helpful. As we discovered, Nicola does commission work as well if you know what you'd like but can't find it.
