After working in the funeral industry for numerous years, he decided that a more personal and bespoke service was required and took the decision to set up his own funeral business. Suitable premises were found on Wallace Road in Coventry and after extensive refurbishment AJ Lloyd became the first new funeral directors in Coventry for over sixty years.

If the person has died at home and the death was expected, then you need to call your normal family doctor or the medical practitioners that were looking after your loved one. They will attend and confirm that death has occurred. You should then contact us on our 24 hour telephone number and we will arrange to come to the home and bring your loved one into our care.

We are an independent funeral director. In accordance with the Code of Practice we offer a Basic Funeral to a standard specification. As this service is designed to meet a specific choice or economic need the services available are restricted to those shown below. Transfer of the deceased from place of death to our Chapel of Rest during normal working hours.
