L'aperitivo, as it's known in Italy, originated in Milan and has spread throughout the whole country, quickly becoming a much-loved part of Italian culture. And now it has arrived to Aberdeen!
Traditionally, l'aperitivo was an opportunity to catch up with friends, unwind after a long day and indulge one's appetite with an aperitif : a glass of wine or a beer, while snacking on some home-made local dishes. Aperitivo has taken those principles and provided a new way of eating.
