Good: staff are friendly, rooms look great.
Bad: does the worst breakfast, like literally its famous for it, the reviews on booking.com are full of complains. Hash browns like Gandhis flip flop, bacon was leathery and we avoided some of the other stuff. Also the continental 8 slices of ham in a big metal display was really weird.
Rooms are obliterated by years of use, ok it antique and looks old but the 4 poster bed was literally balanced together. No joke.

This is by far the best place we have ever stayed in the UK for a hotel experience!! The staff are absolutely amazing! Dee, sue, Kelly to name a few, they are all amazing!! I've stayed here with my wife and 2 kids and I can honestly say that they have made us all feel so welcome!! De Rougemont Manor is full of history, with pictures dating back to 1900 and the original families who lived here. It has a fantastic heated swimming pool, a gym and even tennis courts! The grounds to walk around are truly lovely and even though you are so close to the city, you could be a million miles away! Thank you

My stay was ok but the beds where so uncomfortable and the pillows were like bricks I went home after 2 nights with severe neck pain lol. The staff were hands down all so lovely and professional, theyre always there when you need something in a click of a finger, their room service was quick so no issues there. The down sides are that the rooms are a little dated and just need a little updating, I dont think my stay was worth anything near what we paid. I laid in bed one night and early hours I felt as if someone was standing over my feet breathing quite heavily. I also heard mugs clinking

My husband and I were thinking of getting one of their packages, which included a 3 course meal and breakfast the next day. It being 2021 and there being a big spike in veganism, I contacted the hotel to find out what they offered, as I couldn't see any options on their site. I was really shocked to be told they did not offer ANY vegan options for the evening meal. I think it's pretty chappy they don't cater for different dietary requirements, so in all, I'm glad I found this out before wasting money booking with them.

This place is nice but in serious need of updating. The pool is lovely but falling apart and was really dirty. The beds and pillows were really hard and super uncomfortable, we didn't have a good night's sleep. Thankfully in the morning the breakfast staff were lovely and there was a good selection, although for the price I would have expected fresh bread and mushrooms that didn't come from a tin

Where do I start for those whom follow my reviews I only gift fours on rare occasions so this is my review wow . Easy to get to ideal wedding place . Parking was no issue plenty plenty plenty .Very picturesque . I pulled in carpark walked round to main reception building is wonderous and set back from main road . Entering building to main desk it's ok . Staff excellent even before I got to the venue emails messages everything ready and early check in. Going through main building historical pictures on the walls of the venue . Decor very nice . The bar good range of good spirits slightly expensive

From my 5 day stay I must admit for the price it wasn't worth it. From the pool paint pealing off its walls to the extremely run down tennis courts, it wasn't too pleasant of a stay.
Pool:
The pool is pealing paint and has a weird smell another of the people I went with also had the chlorine change her hair colour slightly to a slight green tinge. Tennis courts:
As for the tennis courts the work fine, but they are extremely run down and any balls going over the low fences are officially gone.
Spa:
During my stay the spa wasn't open although From the outside it looked pretty OK.
