Garden Design Process
Report
The first step of the garden design process is to phone to discuss your garden and to arrange an initial consultation. This is typically 1.5-2 hours and gives you the opportunity to meet me and discuss your garden, explaining your needs and requirements. I will give an initial assessment of the key features of your garden and advice on budget and the best approach.
Traditional Country Garden
Report
Set in a semi rural spot in West End, Esher; the client wanted a traditional country garden, a summer house and lots of routes around as she knew she wanted to spend as much time as she could outside with her large extended family and young grandchildren. The new design divided the garden into several areas with a large terrace for family gatherings with a traditional parterre planted with scented roses, lavender and soft perennials.
Contemporary Country Garden
Report
High on the list of requirements for this family was space for parties. The house was being remodelled and the garden needed to be completely redone to compliment the new house. The garden was large but completely flat and featureless and had serious problems of overlooking along the longest and most visible boundary.
