Welcome to Lynx Autocare - we're a local garage, based in Waterbeach, Cambridge - we're in the big grey buildings next to the BP garage on the A10 - 20 metres along the road from the Cambridge Research Park. The first person you'll meet when you come to the garage is Collette or Steve. Collette organises everyone, all the bookings and appointments and ensures the parts the mechanics need are on hand at the right time.
She of course drives, but prefers two wheels to four - so if you want to be on her good side, ask her about her two wheeled adventures. Steve, along with his wife Jayne, owns Lynx Autocare - and Airport Lynx (the multi award winning chauffeur company) and Myhill's Minicoaches. Outside of work, he loves cars and bikes and has a passion for 'doing up' cars that other people would consider to be too much of a challenge.

Appointments aren't always needed so if you're in a hurry for your MOT why not pop by and see if we can fit you in? However, if you're slightly more organised book via our online form or give us a call. On most of our MOT tests, we offer a 'while you wait' service from 7 am onwards, so you can relax with your feet up and a half-way decent brew.

As an approved fitting centre for most makes of tyres, we can supply and fit the best and most cost-effective rubber to your vehicle. We have access to a huge range of car, van, and 4X4 tyres: from economic budget tyres to top brand names, we will be able to find the right tyre for you. Fitting is included in our rates, or we can fit your own tyres for a modest charge using our newly installed tyre machine and balancer.
Air conditioning

Car air-con on the blink? Don't sweat, we'll sort it. If your car's air conditioning is starting to play up and you're not sure what is going on there could be an issue. One of the first signs that your vehicle's air conditioning has a fault is that it will blow cold and warm intermittently. Most manufacturers recommend recharging your air conditioning system every 2 years.
