Established in 1922, with our Centenary year in 2022, Astbury is a picturesque yet testing parkland course situated amongst the beautiful South Cheshire countryside. The easy to walk course comprises sweeping tree lined fairways, and, uniquely, the historic Macclesfield canal, which gently flows along dividing the layout.
Hand in hand with our investment in the very best machinery, materials and greens staff we are now entering our 6th year of significant investment into enhancing the course design and playability - with over 24 redesigned and reconstructed bunkers, new paths, tees and course drainage. Our greens are the best they've ever been, thanks to a concerted investment programme of deep aeration, feeding and grass care.
