Just seven miles from the centre of Stoke-on-Trent, Westwood was first founded in 1899 as a nine hole course, the newer back nine was developed in the late 1980's and runs attractively through The Churnet Valley with the river neatly separating the two nines. The opening half presents a real challenge, through undulating terrain that eventually turns spectacular once you reach the highest point of the layout.

Report
After just 8 years as a member of the Club I feel privileged to take on the role of Lady Captain. We have a very friendly and welcoming group of ladies and a full calendar of events throughout the year. This includes friendly matches against other local golf clubs, a full competition diary from April to October, mixed golf events, a Spring open and a Turkey Trot where we enjoy welcoming guests from other clubs in the area.
