Services
Quit Smoking
Our smoking cessation programme utilises Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy to break nicotine addiction through a single 2-hour session, including follow-up support. Clients learn self-hypnosis techniques to manage cravings and triggers, with a success rate comparable to conventional methods. The package costs approximately two weeks' supply of cigarettes for a 20-a-day smoker, offering long-term financial and health benefits.
Weight Loss
This service combines hypnotherapy with cognitive behavioural strategies to address emotional eating and establish sustainable healthy habits. Clients attend 3-6 sessions to identify triggers, develop coping mechanisms, and reinforce positive behaviours through guided visualisation. The approach focuses on building self-awareness and long-term lifestyle changes rather than restrictive dieting, with sessions priced at 80-120 each.
Phobias
Specialised treatment for phobias and anxiety disorders employs gradual exposure techniques within hypnotic states to reframe negative associations. Sessions address both conscious fears and subconscious triggers, typically resolving issues within 4-6 sessions. The method proves effective for common phobias like arachnophobia, aviophobia, and social anxiety, with techniques adapted to individual trauma histories and coping capacities.
Performance Anxiety
Designed for professionals and students facing public speaking, exams, or high-pressure situations, this service teaches relaxation techniques and cognitive restructuring. Clients develop personalised coping strategies through 4-6 sessions, combining self-hypnosis with behavioural experiments to build confidence. The programme demonstrates measurable improvements in stress management and task performance within three months.
Habit Change
This service targets compulsive behaviours like nail-biting, excessive screen time, or shopping addiction through trigger identification and habit replacement strategies. Hypnotherapy reinforces new neural pathways for automatic positive responses, typically requiring 4-6 sessions. Clients receive homework assignments to practice alternative coping mechanisms in real-life situations, with 80% reporting significant improvement within eight weeks.

Questions
What conditions can hypnotherapy effectively treat?
Hypnotherapy successfully addresses smoking cessation, weight management, anxiety disorders, phobias, performance anxiety, and habit change. It works best for clients motivated to change and willing to engage in homework assignments between sessions.
How many sessions will I need?
Smoking cessation typically requires one 2-hour session. Weight loss and habit change programmes need 3-6 sessions. Anxiety and phobia treatments usually require 4-6 sessions, with progress reviewed at each appointment.
Is online hypnotherapy as effective as in-person sessions?
Yes, online sessions via video platforms prove equally effective for most clients. The therapeutic process remains identical, with the added convenience of accessing treatment from any location with internet connectivity.
What qualifications do your practitioners hold?
Colin Jones-Evans holds a Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy, Master Practitioner NLP status, and GHSC accreditation. He maintains professional insurance and adheres to ethical standards from multiple regulatory bodies.
Can hypnotherapy help with clinical depression?
Hypnotherapy isn't recommended for clinical depression or psychosis. We advise consulting your GP before starting treatment if you have diagnosed mental health conditions to ensure appropriate care pathways.
What happens during a first session?
The initial consultation assesses your specific needs, discusses treatment options, and establishes realistic goals. Subsequent sessions combine CBT techniques with hypnotic suggestion to reinforce positive behavioural changes through structured exercises.

Sep 14, 2017 Report
I visited Colin during the Fringe Festival as a means to calm my performance anxiety and our session made a world of difference. He gave me some techniques to use which really helped and I've used them many times since. I'm enjoying performing once again, I highly recommend!
