The business was founded in 1992 by husband and wife, Neil and Kath Harvey, with a view to providing families in and around Leyland with an independent funeral director with local values and in 2012 daughter Laura joined the team. Prior to founding the business, Neil worked at a local funeral home, gaining valuable experience within the trade.
Both Neil and Kath grew up in Leyland and have proudly served many families throughout the area. You can read our full story here. At N & K Harvey Funeral we offer complete funeral services and funeral home for customers throughout Leyland and surrounding areas. During your initial call, you will need to provide basic details, such as whether the deceased has died at their home or in a private nursing home. Once we have this information, we will then make arrangements for the deceased to be taken to our private chapel of rest.

A headstone can be crafted to your specification with a personalised inscription, with permission from the relevant authorities i.e. Church, Cemetery. We will make all the necessary arrangements ahead of the burial or cremation for your peace of mind.
