The service was excellent and the food was excellent too I had a steak and Gammon combo preceded by a sharing platter. This left no room for pudding but there was a good variety available for those who have a sweet tooth. We enjoyed the good value too.

Came for food today with a table of 20 and was very disappointed with the food and the service. The roast potatoes were full of grease and inedible, the pie tasted like it had been poured in salt and the staff seemed like they didnt want to be there at all that served us, telling my 9 year old daughter to put her head down as she passed hot skillets over her, dropping ice cream on her when clearing the plates and dropped food off the plate when clearing up but left it on the floor and didnt come back to clear it up. Will not be coming again as most of us went away still hungry

Overall it was OK. The staff seemed like they wanted to be anywhere else but there. No smiles, quite abrupt with the drinks and food and all in all you just felt like you was a burden to them. The food was lovely but.. I never thought I'd say this. The portions were way to big, one plate could easily feed two people. I love value for money, but feel you could smaller the plate sizes and customers wouldn't notice and you probably wouldn't have as much wastage. Gin and beer was on point, we travel to different restaurants so we've had different types of good and bad drinks, nothing wrong with that
