The small animal team consists of 13 dedicated small animal vets, 10 qualified veterinary nurses, 3 trainee veterinary nurses, 2 nursing assistants and 13 receptionists.
The team work between our Colne, Barnoldswick and Burnley surgeries and operate a first opinion service to our clients. With five full time vets, as well as four support staff, the farm side of the large animal department provides care for all manner of production animals. With close to one hundred years of shared experience, the farm animal vets are adept in all fields of production animal husbandry, health and welfare.

The British Veterinary Association (BVA) were here filming us at Stanley House, Colne in the summer of 2016 for Veterinary View. The purpose of this filming was to capture who's who in the practice and how everyone comes together for the good of the patients and the clients. The next short film looks at the vet client relationship and highlights the importance of preventive healthcare for pets.
Goodnight, Friend – Film screening

We will be supporting a free screening of the short documentary 'Goodnight, Friend' that was filmed at Stanley House and around the local area last year. The film highlights how deeply the loss of a pet affects people, but most importantly, it offers comfort, advice, and hope for all of us who have such special animals in our lives.
