Lovely lodges. Very well equipped.
Dogs allowed on leads but unfortunately some visitors didn't adhere to this rule this causing distress to other dogs who were on leads or inside lodges!!

We stayed in the Maxwell cabins for 5 nights. Cabins were very well equipped that included a washing machine and dishwasher. WiFi was a bit ropey at times and TV pixelated at times. Beds were a big and soft. Plenty of drawers for storage. The big negative for me was the sofa and chair in the lounge area. We just couldn't get comfortable as there was no support in the seats and very difficult to get out of due to them being so soft and really need to be replaced. We ate in the courtyard restaurant on site one evening. Good selection of choices and the food was very well presented and tasty. Friendly

Pleasant outside eating area which allowed us to fully enjoy the lovely weather. Good bar type food at fair prices. There is also an attractive inside area if weather is inclement. Choice of ice creams available and smashing shop

Beautiful place, enjoyed an hour of horse riding with the family (kids rode too, aged 8 and 10) at Mains of Taymouth Stables and Kerri and her team were organised, knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. Highly recommend the stables for a fun activity.

Definitely 5 star accommodation. Had a fantastic 3 days there the end of August. Courtyard Brasserie is well worth a visit for lunch and tea.Golf course is of a good standard. Some restaurants in the area aren't open 7 days so worth checking ahead ahead to avoid disappointment.
