What insurance coverage do you provide for moves?
All moves include public liability insurance and goods-in-transit coverage. Additional insurance up to £50,000 per item is available upon request with premium pricing.
Can I access stored items during rental period?
Storage access is available during office hours with prior booking. Container storage requires 48-hour notice for access scheduling.
How far in advance should I book services?
We recommend booking at least three weeks in advance. Emergency bookings may be accommodated with 48-hour notice for local moves.
What items cannot be transported?
We cannot transport hazardous materials, perishables, illegal substances, firearms, or live animals due to safety and legal regulations.
Do you offer weekend services?
Yes, weekend services are available with a premium charge to cover additional staffing costs.
What preparation is required before move day?
Clients should disconnect electrical appliances, remove wall-mounted items, and defrost freezers. Our team can assist with these tasks for an additional fee.

Hello,
We used John's removals for fairly local move. We were let down by a third party in our chain a few times and had to change the removal date once at very short notice. However they were really understanding about it and on the removal day gave us a very professional service which we could not fault. We had a long wait to get keys and access properly but again this was no problem

We recently used Johns Removals and we cannot recommend them enough! We opted for the packing service which was done very quickly. Unfortunately on the packing day and moving day it continuously snowed and we lived on a hill so that caused a few issues getting the lorry up but Johns Removals quickly came up with an action plan and all was fine in the end. The team worked very hard and we would definitely use again

Excellent removal and packing service. They ensured the day ran smoothly, worked like troopers. Dan and all his team were hardworking, courteous and especially considerate to our 88 year old father, who appreciated his chair being last on the lorry and highly professional. Packing service used for the kitchen was fabulous, carefully packed which resulted in zero breakages of some very special items. If youre in doubt then dont be. I recommend Johns Removalss without any doubt. Our thanks to you all.
