Went to this shambolic place to have my car inspected for a oil leak. I was advised that the car needed to be steam cleaned due to oil being all over the engine bay and undercarriage. I opted to have this done. The next month I had a issue with my breaks so I took it to my usual garage for inspection. I was horrified to find out that my car was a massive fire risk due to the excessive oil that was left in the engine bay and around the car. I was advised that how the car did not catch fire is a miracle! The car was meant to of been steam cleaned and was just rushed if done at all. I was also advised

I previously took my husbands car to A1 MOTORS to get work done on our car. They informed me that it was an issue with the automatic transmission and that it could not be repaired. I took my car to the nearest available garage which was Mend Your Motor and they were able to fix my automatic transmission fault same day. Thanks to everyone at Mend Your Motor! :)

Less than 8 months after having front & rear brake discs and pads replaced (along with new battery and their Gold service at a total of cost 877) there was a nasty grinding sound from front passenger side wheel. Took the vehicle to a different garage, where it was found that there was only 1 nut loosely holding the brakes in place and the grinding noise was damage being done to the wheel! This was a potentially catastrophic issue. Due to lockdown the car has luckily only done around 3,000 locally driven miles since the new brakes & discs, which is far short of the 17,000 miles a year that are

I have an older car (13 years) that I just really like and would prefer to keep running than replace. Garry at Mend Your Motor did an excellent job bringing my car up to speed, starting from top priority jobs such as brake, timing belt and clutch fixes and then taking on all the small details, which have made my car feel like a new one. He was honest about things he didn't think were worth investing in, but was happy to do all the little jobs I wanted. I even got a new Bluetooth stereo and mic system installed!

I can only go from personal experience but these guys have always been great. Good service done on my car and always been upfront and honest when I've taken my Daughter's car in. I was concerned with my Daughter's Mini recently, they gave it a good look over, then test drove it with me in the car. They gave me some good advise on what my concern maybe, told me nothing to worry about at this stage but come back if unsure. Charged me 0. Thanks guys.
