Every one of the guest rooms have been individually and personally decorated by the owners. We now have 2 new deluxe 4-poster rooms with outside terrace and small private garden, at the back of the guest house. The garden will be shared by these two rooms only. They are now available to book. There are several room types in the guest house, to suit your requirements.

Glenalmond House is a beautiful traditional Victorian detached house with its own private guest parking, is set in the very elegant, upmarket and vibrant south side of Newington, in Mayfield Gardens. Close to the city centre and University district of Edinburgh, with an excellent regular bus service for the short trip to Edinburgh City Centre.

We are proud to present our extensive breakfast menu, on which we hope you will find something a little different to try. We have plenty of vegetarian options on the menu and several vegan options. We can provide gluten free bread for toast, but please let us know when you book, so that we have it available for your stay.
