Amazing! The staff was great, you are given the respect you deserve. I attended a memorial service reception and the atmosphere was just super! The food was gorgeous. Highly recommend for any function!

Friendly local feel, large heated outdoor areas (separate smoking and non-smoking areas). Restaurant dining area as well as main bar. Food on the restaurant menu is as good as, if not better than some of the prime central London gastropubs!

Ive been going to the oak for over 8 years now and its always been such a good atmosphere food has been good and polite staff. My recent experience at the pub since covid has hit has gone completely down hill. The atmosphere seems very stiff like theyre trying to be something theyre not. As for the staff they have an odd one or two behind the bar that are lovely. But myself and friends had food brought up and when we asked which one was which due to each pizza being different we was greeted with the response of I dont know whos is whos I didnt take your order than

This is pretty much the perfect pub. It has an excellent selection of beers, perfect decor, staff are knowledgeable and really welcoming and friendly and it has a nice vibe inside and out. Only ways it could be better would be something to entertain kids outside and some green veg with the roasts.
