We feel it is essential to work together with parents so that the best outcomes can be achieved for the child by sharing as much information as possible. We try and include parents in the life of the nursery and support them with all aspects of their child's learning.
We have a bi-annual parents' evening to provide the opportunity for parents to come in and talk to their child's key person about their progress and look through their child's development profile.We also have a bi-annual information evening for parents of children new to the Discoverers' room which is an opportunity to learn about the ethos and routines of the room.

Nursery Uniform

At 22 Street Lane Nursery, we believe that wearing uniform encourages the children to have a sense of belonging and pride in nursery and helps them in their preparation for school. We believe it is good for all children over the age of 2 years old to wear the Nursery uniform. Children under the age of two years have a no uniform policy, however, it is essential that they wear comfortable, safe and suitable clothing for their busy day.
