Stayed over night on bed, breakfast plus dinner. Christmas gift from our children. The room was lovely. Very clean.
Had booked dinner for 7.30pm. Didn't have to work long to be shown to our table. Service was excellent. Had 3 courses. Didn't have to wait long for our courses. Really enjoyable. In contrast, breakfast wasn't as good. Shown to our table pretty quickly. For the continental breakfast, you have to order this at the table as well as tea/coffee and toast. For cooked breakfast, you have to queue and advise what you require. Most of the items were just earm. There is no self service

We were in for Christmas afternoon tea on the 28th December. very disappointed with the service and the quality. We had to ask for tea and Coffee also clean plates and knives, the sandwiches were dry and inferior the cake selection very poor looked like they had been purchased from a discount supermarket and unfortunately the scones were dry and heavy. This was a long awaited get together and a special day out for all. I was so upset for my cousin who organized and paid for the day. First time visiting and definitely the last.
