David and Ian were fantastic! We were welcomed to Champagne on arrival, shown the best places to check out around town and then our room. It was stunning. The whole Guest House had been revamped in the last year and the attention to detail shows how much care the hosts put into the place. All New Year's Eve celebrations were cancelled due to the Pandemic, so it left us as the only people there. David and Ian upgraded us to the bigger room for no extra charge. A stunning room; the shower was big enough for an entire family (and dog!).

Amazing room with fantastice finishing touches. Breakfast was perfect and filling and really set us up for the day. But the best part of our stay was the service; Ian and David were so friendly, accomodating and welcoming. We would definitely recomend anyone to stay here and if we ever find ourselves in Edinburgh again we will be staying here again without a doubt.

Completely renewed guest house. Breakfast is abundant and the hosts are very detail oriented. Can't recommend it enough!

Room was clean and comfortable although it could do with a refurb. There was noise from outside but I guess thats to do with an older building. Disappointed with breakfast as it clearly states that you serve a cooked breakfast. All we had was cereal and toast although there was ham & cheese available. We were in room 5 and there was problems with lighting above mirror and access to plug sockets was not very easy!

Delicious continental breakfast rooms good not sure about beds. Ask for room at back if possible . Ceilings high converted from well to do property. Within easy walking of city. Don't get taxi to venue very dear
