A European Tour venue, having hosted the Saltire Energy Paul Lawrie Match Play in 2015. The judging panel highlighted 'some great holes, scenically and strategically', whilst the overall verdict was 'enjoyable whether in the dune valleys or near the sea'.

The Murcar Championship Golf Links has a par of 71 and a standard scratch rating of 73 (USGA rating 72.7 and USGA slope rating 135). In 2009 we hosted the European Girls Team Championship and the Scottish Amateur Strokeplay Championship. We are also the nearest Championship Links Course (5 miles south) to Trump International Golf Links Scotland.

The testing Murcar Links hosts many national amateur championships and professional tournaments. In 2009 hosted the European Challenge Tour's Scottish Challenge and the British Boys Plate.

At present we have availability of membership - Life, Ordinary, Strabathie, Country and Junior Membership. A limited number of Life Memberships are also available. Murcar Links is a competitive, yet friendly and homely golf club offering some of the finest golfing facilities anywhere in Scotland. A membership at Murcar Links differs from many other courses in the surrounding area, in that golf is possible virtually all year.
