Report
The 1997 Scottish Senior Open was held at Newmachar Golf club on the championship Hawkshill course. Tommy Horton was the winner by an incredible 9 strokes over a very talented field. Tommy shot 12 under for the tournament which included an amazing final round score of 62. Fraser Mann succeeded in the end and pipped a fantastic field of highly talented individuals.

A member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland. I went to Aberdeen Grammar School and the University of Aberdeen studying Economics with Accountancy. After qualifying as a CA I was fortunate to get into partnership with a number of drilling engineers with whom I developed and built two successful oil service companies.

We have a friendly and vibrant ladies section, with golfers of all standards. There are opportunities to play competitive golf three times a week but if that isn't your thing it doesn't matter, we have regular fun competitions where all the ladies are invited to play without the pressure of having a card to mark.
