Was recommended to visit Direct Tyres as my car had suffered fluctuating revs during idling and often stalled. They were happy to conduct a plug-in battery test to establish if my battery was good or bad and reported it was fine. Turns out that when battery is flat and is removed to recharge back to health, you might need to do " idling speed reset" using your car's ignition switch. More than a few journeys may be needed before the correct idling speed is determined. At least I knew it wasn't the battery's fault and DT saved me the expense of a new battery. Many thanks.

I've given 1 star until something is explained... Last year you had my van in, overheating problem. You changed some parts, charged a few hundred and I got the van back with exactly the same problem. Put it down to bad luck, scrapped the van. Very recently you had my father's car in. Changed some parts, said it was worked on for 1.5 days, charged a fortune and it's still not working, same problem.
So now I wonder whether your business is a scam. Changing parts that aren't needed, charging parts and labour and returning cars just as faulty. I used to work with engineers and if parts were fitted

These guys are not too far from where I live and I noticed some noise / issues with my gears so I popped in and asked the chaps if they could have a look. In the end it was something simple, they were able to fix there and then and get me back on the road. Cant fault them at all. Helpful. Honest . Trustworthy. Much appreciated
