Montessori Curriculum
Our Montessori curriculum provides child-led work periods with specialized resources in a prepared environment. This approach encourages independent exploration while developing fine motor skills, cognitive abilities, and social interaction. Children engage with tactile materials that make abstract concepts tangible, following individual interests within a framework of guided discovery.
Child-Led Learning
We implement Montessori work periods tailored to each child's developmental stage. This method promotes self-directed learning through carefully selected materials that build concentration, coordination, and critical thinking. Activities evolve with the child's growing capabilities, ensuring continuous engagement and natural progression in literacy, numeracy, and practical life skills.
Qualified Staff
Our team holds Montessori qualifications and Early Years expertise, with ongoing professional development. Staff maintain low child-to-carer ratios to provide personalized attention while fostering social skills in group settings. Regular training ensures up-to-date practices in early childhood education and safeguarding standards.
Ofsted-Registered Care
As an Ofsted-registered provider, we meet rigorous quality standards for early years education. Inspections have consistently praised our nurturing environment, staff professionalism, and effective child development outcomes. Our compliance with regulatory frameworks ensures parents of a safe, structured, and educationally enriching experience for their children.
Term-Time Programs
We offer structured morning and afternoon sessions during school terms, with flexible attendance options. Programs include themed learning activities, story time, and physical development opportunities. The schedule supports gradual adaptation to formal education while maintaining a balance between structured learning and free exploration in a Montessori environment.

My daughter thoroughly enjoyed her time spent at Little Hands Montessori in Wimbledon. It was a pleasure to watch her confidence and abilities develop over the year she attended, including her writing skills (age 3) and vocabulary. I felt the teachers knew her very well and challenged her in fun and interesting ways. She always skipped in and out of nursery with a big smile on her face. She misses her music classes with Justin! A lovely, small setting with high standards and good quality experiences for the children.
