We have just returned from a well deserved overnight stay at this lovely hotel. We stayed here over 18 years ago when we got engaged and decided to return after getting married this year,upon arrival we was greeted by the manageress who when she found out this information kindly upgraded our room to the very room we stayed in all those years ago!! Such a nice thing to do and it brought back lots of nice memories the room was immaculate (if not a little too warm!) We had a walk into the local town where we had a meal at Cafe Italia which was great food and atmosphere,would definitely recommend

Stayed here for our honeymoon absolutely amazing the staff are wonderful nothing was to much trouble a special thank you to Liam who served us with a smile every morning the housekeeping was excellent and the breakfast was delicious

Beautiful,large room on ground floor,whirlpool bath,v comfortable bed,clean and fabulous breakfast.Shops within 7 min walking time.Parking space a little tricky to manoeuvre in,but will definitely be back....( Recommend The Crafty Baa for a small quirky pub with plenty of atmosphere,and allows dogs.)

Woodlands is a quaint retreat between Windemere Town and Bowness town. Youll find friendly and helpful staff on hand for any query regarding your stay and more than helpful to resolve any issue. This is a simple Bed and Breakfast that has a great atmosphere and communal guest area, featuring a couple of high back chairs and bar. The dining area is airy and spacious and the rooms are a good size and shower bathrooms are fresh and clean. Warm rooms that have heating and double glazed windows. All facilities are functional within the room but we were adventurers so if youre looking for a room
