Nepali sweets are regularly used to supplement a festival or a special occasion in Nepal. They can be served during breakfast, with afternoon tea or after dinner. Some sweets are too sweet to be savoured by itself, so they are often paired with something plain like puri, yoghurt and chai tea. All the sweets pictured below are freshly handmade using traditional methods.
