I booked a table for 6 on Sunday as it was my sister's birthday. We left the restaurant feeling very disappointed and deflated by the whole experience. From the starters to the mains, we felt that the portions were very small and the presentation was quite poor. The roasts were unbelievably tasteless and we could not believe how thin the meat slices were. The chocolate fondant was burnt and the 2 x apple crumbles were more like baby food than an actual apple crumble. I didn't want to complain on the day, as I didn't want to spoil the lunch for my guests however for a 360 bill for 4 adults and

This restaurant was very clean, the food was a bit small in the portions. All had a nice time. Didn't push us to leave. The dinner was for 17 people and reasonable on the price.

We were a large group and the food was delicious as always. The serving staff were attentive but not intrusive. I'm afraid that paying the bill for a group is always complicated and it was no different on this occasion. There was much confusion for everyone which was rather stressful after such a lovely festive lunch

Been a while since we last enjoyed a visit. Received a warm welcome on arrival, escorted to our table and introduced to our charming young restaurant service staff. Interesting choice of dishes on the menu - our group of seven all chose different dishes and we were all delighted with our delicious well cooked and presented food. As we enjoyed our evening, staff were always on hand to look after our needs. A thoroughly enjoyable experience, can't wait to go again. Well done everyone at Masons! Perfect!
