Having used James Pendleton to manage our rental property it seemed an obvious choice to also use them to sell the property. Despite being a different team we received the same excellent service we had become accustomed to. The communication and advice we received from Courtney was first rate and as we don’t live near the extra effort he put in to make sure the property was looked after during the sales process was greatly appreciated. I would thoroughly recommend James Pendleton for both lettings and sales.

I've had a poor experience thus far with the Clapham Office lettings branch of JP. I'm a landlord and, whilst they found me decent tenants quickly, their attention to detail in many other aspects of getting the tenancy in place was very disappointing. The tenants had been misinformed about aspects of the property , and they failed to follow my instructions about others. In all cases they just deflected valid criticism as admin errors or the fault of third party contractors.

James Pendleton have managed the rental of my flat for many years and have been an excellent letting agent. Over the last few months there have been some worrying maintenance issues and Samuel Phillips has gone above and beyond in resolving matters. I couldn’t recommend him and James Pendleton highly enough. His excellent communication skills and ability to problem solve and know who to call and how to fix things has been tremendously supportive in what has been a stressful time. We could not be happier that we moved our property to be managed by James Pendleton. We are landlords that live in New Zealand so we rely on the property manager to look after the tenants as well as our property. Our property was managed by another large agent for over 9 years so we have seen the difference first-hand.

The branch that manage wandsworth properties sadly have not lived up to expectation. They may find a tenant but i presume thats their job after that its down fill. They charge a high % of rental income and frankly need to be chased regarding every little detail. Have handled a change in tenant with them hoping to give then another chance it has been managed with sheer incompetence, leaving the landlord paying outstanding bills of a previous tennant, with no assistance from the agents who returned the deposit without doing the correct due diligence. AVOID
