Home Removals

R & J Removals provides comprehensive home moving solutions across Bristol and the UK. Our fleet of four purpose-built vehicles and trained staff ensure safe transportation of belongings. Services include loading, unloading, and property protection equipment to minimize damage during transit. With over 30 years of experience, we handle moves from small flats to large estates, offering tailored plans to suit individual requirements and budgets.

Storage Solutions

Our containerized storage service offers secure short- and long-term options for personal belongings. Industry-standard wooden containers are loaded on specialized vehicles, minimizing handling and reducing risks. The facility accommodates various storage durations, from one day to multiple years, with protective wrapping for furniture and fragile items. Ideal for property transitions, refurbishments, or overseas relocations, ensuring peace of mind for stored goods.

Packing Services

We offer three packing tiers: full service, 7-hour partial packing, and fragile-only options. Professional packers use high-quality materials like bubble wrap and reinforced boxes to protect items. Self-packing supplies are also available at competitive prices, including specialized containers for delicate items. Services reduce moving stress while ensuring safe transportation, with customizable options to match property size and client preferences.

MoveProtect Coverage

MoveProtect provides up to 100,000 liability coverage for goods during transit or storage. Clients declare a maximum replacement value, and coverage applies under specific terms. This service complements standard protections, offering enhanced financial security against potential damage or loss. Detailed terms outline excluded items and proportional liability adjustments, ensuring transparency about coverage limitations and client responsibilities.

Late Key Waiver

This optional service covers delays caused by late key release for new properties. For 60+VAT, crews wait until 5:00 PM without additional charges, accommodating unexpected access issues. It prevents unexpected costs from uncontrollable circumstances, providing flexibility during the critical moving day timeline. The waiver ensures smoother transitions when property handovers face unforeseen delays.

Thank you so much for the removal service you provided for me yesterday. You were at the property at 8am as you promised everything was packed and cleared very professionally. All furniture was covered and loaded. The whole bungalow was loaded onto the lorry within 4 hours. I would thoroughly recommend Dave and His team for the great service. Keep doing what you all do so well. Thanks again.

Dave & Matt were absolutely fantastic on our moving day. They were efficient, professional, friendly and completely took the stress out of moving. They worked incredibly hard at both properties, as both properties were spread over 3 floors, so they certainly had their work cut out for them ! I can't recommend them highly enough. Thank you so much guys, you must be the A Team !
