Enjoyed our stay in the cottage we had on Blakeney High street. Biggest problem was parking. A good walk to any free parking. Blakeney is a good centre for exploring north Norfolk.

Flintstone Barn had a wasp infestation. We had to deal with a relentless stream of wasps inside the property throughout our stay. Dozens at a time, not just the odd one or two. We were unable to use the communal areas, had to shake out clothes, wedge towels under bedroom doors at night and watch every step. We wanted to be self-catering but ended up staying out as much as possible. It took weeks of chasing up, phone calls, emails to finally get the attention of Blakeney Cottage Company. We hoped they might take some responsibility for their customer experience. This was their final stance:

Just had a week at Crab Quay cottage. The cottage was lovely, away form the road which meant it was peaceful and tucked away so no one came past. Lovely decor and enclosed garden, perfect for our dog. Nice walks to take him on too and close to all our favourite places!

We stayed in Waters Edge last July and enjoyed it so much we are returning for another stay in a few weeks time. The accomodation was superb and Blakeney Cottage Company were very professional. Their cleaning team were very impressive also. We have recommended the Company to friends who have made a booking accordingly.

We just had the most wonderful week at Rosemary Cottage in Blakeney. The cottage is so beautiful, well equipped and perfectly located, we couldn’t have asked for more. The staff at The Blakeney Cottage Company were fantastic throughout, Thank you 🙂

Just returned from a long weekend at The Dingle in Blakeney. Absolutely stunning property , full of charm, clean, loads of space and the all important log fire. Even had a bottle of wine, chocolates and fresh flowers upon arrival. The service from The Blakeney Cottage company was excellent, all correspondence was responded to promptly and the service was very professional. I would have no hesitation is recommending both the property and the company to anyone. Hope to return to Blakeney soon.
