Coarse Fishing

Fish for salmon on our stretch of the River Wye from March 4 to October 17. Permits cost 30 per day, with fly and spinning allowed until August 31. All salmon must be released, and barbless hooks are mandatory.

A lovely hotel with friendly staff, great food, and a cosy atmosphere. We were staying for two nights while we fished and couldnt have felt more welcomed by Mike and staff. The fishing was excellent with numerous chub and barbel caught, although its best to stay mobile and find the fish! Thanks Red Lion!
