Good location and excellent breakfast. The hotel could do with a refurbishment though. Reminded me of the years I spent in the hotel industry in the eighties and nineties.

First night we booked a family room. The sofa bed was extremely uncomfortable with metal springs and rods protruding through the dishevelled mattress. I had zero sleep. Complained to reception staff who said they would talk to the manger I was offered a drinks voucher her as compensation and 20 pounds refund for the dog charge. We switched to a twin bed room where I then needed to sleep.until.lunch time leaving my 13 year old son to his own devices. We were only away for two days. So this has totally ruined our plans. Although the owning reception staff were lovely. When I returned to the hotel
