ROYAL (School of Motoring), was started in 1981 by Martin Ferid opening an office in Camberwell shortly after. This was at a time long before speed humps & traffic cameras. Most people were picked up from the office in South London and the AA were only a breakdown service, no plumbers or driving instructors yet.

Established in 1981, we have been providing quality tuition for nearly 40 years. Not only have we taught the children, but in some cases also the grandchildren of those that started their lessons with us back then. Our aim is to provide a safe learning environment for our students with every lesson or course we provide.
Lesson Prices

Our block booking is specially discounted to give you better value for money. Generally speaking, the closer lessons are together, the fewer lessons are needed in the long run. Giving a double saving. Although they don't suit everybody, Intensive Courses are a great way to take out a lot of the stress of prolonged lessons.
Theory Test

To prepare for the theory test the Driving & Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) recommend that all candidates study the Highway Code, know Your Traffic Signs and the relevant books from DSA's Driving Skills series. You could study, at home or just online. All Royal students receive unlimited FREE Theory and Hazard Perception training at our Lewisham Office.
Practical Driving Test

Apply for a Provisional Driving Licence. This is a Green Driving Licence which allows you to drive with any persons older than 21 that has been driving for longer than 3 years. The DVSA naturally recommends the services of a Registered Driving Instructor. Book your driving lessons and pass the Theory Test with help and assistance from your Driving Instructor.
