We require 48 hours' notice for cancellations. Appointments cancelled with less notice incur a £20 fee or deposit loss.

First hair appointment at Serenes in April to have GK straightening by Jacqui. I have damaged very thick afro hair, this was my first hair appointment since moving to Broadstairs just before first lockdown and Ive never had GK straightening before so naturally a bit nervous. (I normally have it relaxed). Absolutely no need to be nervous! Greeted and made to feel very comfortable and welcome which is so important. Jacqui talked me through every detail of the straightening process and how to take care of my hair at home, and the GK shampoo and conditioner came with package. Afterwards my hair

All I have to say is... WOW. The service I have received today from Robert was exceptional. From the moment I walked into the salon to the moment I left. He was so attentive, polite and professional. I came to the salon upon recommendation from my mother who had previously had a great experience and now I am so glad I did! It was the best hair cut I have ever had and thats because Robert took time to ensure he knew exactly what I wanted. Serene's have gone to great lengths to make the salon Covid 19 safe. It's the first place I've been since isolating during lockdown and felt completely safe. My hair colour is quite tricky and a bit like paint by numbers as I have grey, blonde and mouse all through it... but thanks to Pauline's expertise my hair looks all one colour once again plus she cuts it brilliantly.
