Traditional country Hotel, easy to find, wonderful views. Good sized, comfortable rooms. Very good breakfast. Service is excellent, all staff in the hotel are so friendly and helpful, nothing is too much trouble. The only criticism I have is insufficient shelves to put toiletries on in the en suite, but that is minor.

Fantastic Hotel! We stayed for one night to break up our journey from Scotland to England. Staff were amazing, couldnt do more for us and very accommodating for our Dog! Will definitely stay again next time we pass.

Have stayed four times now at The Cressfield whilst visiting family. This hotel is excellent value for money. Rooms are comfortable and spotless. Food is very good and breakfast has powered me back home to Yorkshire every time . Nigel and his staff are welcoming and friendly. Would you stay here again ? Definitely!!!!

We live just a five minute walk from the hotel, the view is still beautiful framed from the lovely dining room. The staff are friendly and efficient , and the food exemplary. Doesn't break the bank either for such amazing standards. Will be becoming a regular
