The Owners Angela and Brian met at the Pen-y-Bont Hotel in 2005. Angela had recently been singing on the Royal Caribbean Cruise Line in Alaska and was staying at her parent's holiday home nearby. From there she was to set out on the next phase of her life. Meanwhile she had a part time bar job at the Pen-y-Bont Hotel.
Brian walked in with his Mum and a friend. Mum had been diagnosed with a terminal illness and it was to be one last holiday while she was still enjoying life (she actually confounded the medical profession and lived for a further fourteen years.) From behind the bar Angela asked "what would you like to drink?"

Hotel Rooms
Report
Our three double rooms are each named after a local historical character, and contain a folder describing the life and times in which they lived. Rooms can either be accessed by stairs from the front of the Hotel or by a ramp to the rear. All rooms have a South East facing aspect; this looks across the road to the churchyard and the majestic sweep of Craig Goch mountainside beyond.
