Welcome to Llwyn Onn Guest House & Glamping Guest House & Glamping
We are Claire and Nigel McEvoy, proud owners of Llwyn Onn Guest House & Glamping Guest House & Glamping since May 2021. Our journey began with a career shift from childcare and hospitality in Hertfordshire to fulfilling our dream of rural living in North Wales. The property, originally five Victorian estate cottages, has been meticulously restored to offer modern comfort while preserving its heritage. Nestled on the edge of Snowdonia National Park, we provide immersive access to Corsydd Nug A Merddwr SSSI and our private lake, attracting diverse wildlife.

Our four guest rooms and four glamping units cater to nature enthusiasts seeking tranquility, with alpacas, free-roaming chickens, and panoramic mountain views enhancing the experience. With decades of combined hospitality experience, we prioritize attentive service, locally sourced breakfasts, and curated insights into North Wales' outdoor adventures.

The historic building's restoration preserves original features while providing contemporary amenities for a relaxing stay.
Glamping Pods
Luxury insulated pods sleep two adults with double beds, electric fires, and entertainment systems. Private fire pits, outdoor seating, and disposable BBQs allow evening enjoyment of mountain vistas. Shared facilities include a kitchenette, dining area, and shower block with robes and hairdryers. Minimum two-night stays ensure full immersion in the Snowdonian landscape.
Shepherd Huts
Traditional shepherd huts provide cozy self-contained accommodation with bedding, kitchen facilities, and entertainment systems. Each unit has private outdoor seating with blankets and fire pit access. Located within landscaped grounds separated by hedgerows, these huts offer pet-friendly stays with controlled dog access. Special occasion packages include floral arrangements and celebratory extras.

As soon as we arrived at Llwyn Onn, we were struck by the warm welcome we received.
Claire and Nigel made every effort to make us feel at home. We appreciated Claire's creative touches and her affection for all the animals. We had the pleasure of staying in the Shepard hut, which offered breathtaking views of the mountains. We would strongly recommend this place and plan to return in the future. Thank you very much for the wonderful experience.

Warm and friendly welcome and stay at the guest house. Our room was immaculately clean and breakfast was excellent. Plenty of parking available on site. If we return to N Wales wed definitely stay here again and have no hesitation recommending others.

Me and my partner stayed in (The Hut) glamping pod. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay, bedding, pillows, towels and even bathrobes. The nice touches were the hot water bottles, marshmallows and skewers for the fire Pitt . The breakfast hamper has everything and more, we didn't get through it all but had everything we needed for a nice full fry up (Full English) the kitchen is well equipped and also has a dartboard and a selection of DVD's that you can take back and watch in you pod. The showers and toilets were spotless. The BBQ area is spacious and has beautiful views, if you need

Brilliant place with stunning scenery, but the best thing was the hosts Tracey and Wayne who went the extra mile to make our stay perfect.
