Beautiful estate recently purchased by Arora Group. So much history here. My room is in the main mansion. My room is clean, but the bed and pillows are quite uncomfortable to sleep on. There is no hot water at late night after returning from our Christmas party. However the shower head is strong and the volume of water enough to make an enjoyable experience. If the hotel can rectify the aforementioned issues, none of them are different to resolve, it could easily be a 5 star experience.
Cleanliness 9/10, shower 8/10, bed 5/10, value for money 7/10.

Lovely hotel, challenging bunkerless golf course, fast green and well maintained fairway.
Beware of the rough, stay in the fairway.. Once your ball gets in rough, it's lost!!!
Bars and restaurants are nice. Staff are generally friendly except for one at the golf club who continually nag us to hurry up for our dinner whilst cleaning our golf gears. Will surely visit again.

We stayed here for one night 20th November. A member of staff was extremely rude to us when we sat in the lounge having a cup of tea. He accused us of abandoning our car when we had simply left it outside the hotel. When we said we had left it as directed by a member of the parking staff he said rudely 'who told you that?" Then he stormed off. I asked for the manager to report this. He couldn't have been nicer and to his credit arranged for a bottle of champagne for us at dinner. But the damage was done and our stay ruined. Food mediocre. Never again. Elizabeth and Roger Smith

Beautiful house and gardens. The staff were top notch and friendly too. Afternoon tea was relaxed but classy, beautifully presented cakes and scones. Only downside were the sandwiches were bland

Had afternoon tea. Fabulous reception and service as always. Good food but not outstanding. Would still go again because the venue is stunning and the service second to none.
