Wife took me here for a birthday lunch.
Booked in advance. Not too busy meal was great. We have been going here for years. Brilliant location on Co. Antrim coast.

The Halfway House is a fantastic place to go. The food is amazing. The owner and Staff are really nice friendly and helpful. We went to a music night with Christmas Dinner and found the entertainment very good it was all well organised and run smoothly. We would have no hesitation in recommending the Halfway House and will be back there ourselves in the near future.

Stayed here a while back on a business trip. Hotel and room was clean. The place had a nice and relaxed atmosphere. Set in a beautiful location facing the sea. Breakfast would have been more enjoyable if you were not vegetarian / vegan. Can't fully fault them as the booking was done through work. Maybe they have expanded their offerings since. Didn't check out the the rest of the menu as we ate elsewhere. Owners / staff were welcoming and very friendly.

We called yesterday evening for a meal, we told server my husband cant eat potatoes and could we have a portion of onion rings instead, this was refused and told we would have to pay for chips and be charged for onion rings, when I questioned being charged for chips server just said thats the way it is Im cross with myself we didnt get up and leave, my husband was served with a chicken fillet burger on a dinner plate with a pot of gravy? we eat out every weekend and my husbands dietary needs were never ignored like this. We'll not be back, my chips were just bits of frozen chips
