One of my favourite spots in the Cotswolds. The food is good, the drinks selection is vast. The setting is what really completes this placed. It is situation at the top of a hill which has a glorious view. The inside has a very warm and cozy British pub ambience, with a lovely fireplace. The outdoor seating area is very quaint. A top tip is to arrive for dinner 2 hours before sunset, eat, then retire with drinks and or dessert to the outmost seating area where you can enjoy breathtaking sunset views from. A true gem.

The Garden at the rear has a wonderful panoramic view of Cotswold fields. Could sit here all afternoon on a warm day. Had a lovely local pint of Hooky. There is a path outside that looks good for disabled access too.

The rooms are immaculately clean and come with large fluffy robes and the nicest smelling products including full sized shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Coffee, tea and water are also supplied. From the warm greeting to the cheery goodbye, the staff could not be more helpful. We were particularly grateful for Sue's local knowledge and tips. We ate in the restaurant on both nights where they offer a delicious
