Based in South London until mid-2017, we relocated to Somerset, and continue to work in South and South West London on certain projects. I dont do the 'hard sell' and aim to make the whole process enjoyable and rewarding for us and for you. I am not a glass painter, so if your project requires a lot of painted details (which does drive up the cost considerably), we may not be able to help, although I do work with glass painters from time to time, usually for smaller specific detailed elements in a larger design.

Do feel free to enquire, although its unlikely we will service minor repair work. Our bespoke leaded panels are hand made in the traditional fashion, using coloured glass pieces and lead.

Our methods are very tradtional, although we use dedicated stained glass design software, which produces accurate, coloured visuals for the client and a working drawing from the same file. This work is generally for regular glazing (maybe where you want an alternative to conventional clear obscured glass), or for hanging or standing in front of existing windows, including double glazed units.

All of the work shown in these galleries is our own production - they are bespoke new panels to clients' commissions, or existing panels that have been restored, usually by taking apart and rebuilding with new lead after the glass has been washed and new pieces cut to replace cracked or missing ones.

We start by thinking about the design, and for that we need the approximate size and shape of the spaces in which the stained glass is to be fitted.

Stained glass - has the decorative details - faces, flowers, scrolls, lettering etc fused onto the glass pieces making up the design after having been applied by brush. A leaded light has no painted details - its made up of pieces of uncoloured or coloured glass - where the colour is integral to the glass.
