What emergency dental services do you offer?
We provide urgent care for uncontrolled pain, bleeding, or trauma. Registered patients can access same-day appointments with fees starting at £52 during normal hours.
Do you accept NHS dental patients?
We treat NHS patients but currently have limited availability. Emergency NHS care requires contacting NHS 111 outside our operating hours.
What payment options are available?
Denplan payment plans cover routine and restorative care. Private treatments require payment at consultation, with emergency bookings needing prepayment for non-registered patients.
Can you help nervous dental patients?
Yes, we offer conscious sedation administered by trained specialists to help anxious patients receive necessary treatments comfortably and safely.
What happens if I need to cancel an appointment?
Please call us directly to cancel. Missed appointments within 48 hours may incur charges, and repeated cancellations could require deposits for future bookings.

Popped in to have my upper right 2nd molar examined by Martin Bateman. From initial consultation, through the two subsequent follow up Root Canal procedures he was simply brilliant (as was his assistant). So exceptional was his level of care during the final lengthy procedure that I nearly drifted off to sleep! Simply brilliant dental practitioners and I will (so long as I live in the SW) never go anywhere else.

I had a 2hr root canal procedure, completed in the most professional way. Being my first experience of this procedure (and of Wellsway Dental Practice), my dentist, Tom, put me at ease right away, explaining the process clearly beforehand. Nothing felt rushed or too much trouble, despite me mentioning having dentist anxiety in the past at other practices. I felt comfortable throughout the whole procedure. When I looked at my tooth afterwards, I couldnt see a trace of the work carried out and I had zero discomfort that evening or in the days after. It was like I had imagined the whole thing

Wellsway Dental Practice is brilliant. I would recommend them to anyone, especially if you are nervous. I spent many years not visiting the dentist due to fear and anxiety. I have been looked after so well by the dentists and hygienists here that I no longer have any concern to book my check ups and hygienist appointments. They have helped to get my teeth and gums back to a healthy condition!
