Once this has been completed, the dentist will meet you to carry out your full oral health assessment, including any X-rays where necessary. Based on the outcome of the assessment, a discussion of your oral health will take place followed by an explanation of any treatment required together with the associated costs of this treatment.

We conduct regular oral health assessments, usually every 6 months, where we will be checking specific areas and assessing them for their health. These checks will ensure that we perform a thorough and detailed health assessment when you come to see us, and this allows us to continue to provide you with the highest quality and continuity of dental care.
Preventative and Hygiene

Prevention begins with regular oral health assessments (check-ups) so that any tooth and/or gum related problems can be identified and treated early. Regular check-ups include oral cancer screening, as early detection of oral cancer is of paramount importance in relation to improving survival rates.
Children’s Dentistry

At Streetly Smiles Dental Care, we want children to get off to the best start in life in regards to their oral health. Children are naturally born free from disease, and we want them to stay that way. Visits to the dentist from an early age help to build their confidence, and that is why we do not charge for routine check-ups for children under the age of 5.
