Emphasis is placed on preventative care, to keep your whole mouth and smile healthy. At our examination and consultation, in addition to your teeth, we also examine the soft tissues of the whole mouth, the health of your gums and the jaw joints.
Crowns
Report
A crown is a way of restoring a weak, broken, or unsightly tooth so that it is made much stronger, as well as more attractive. Teeth that have been root-filled usually need to have a crown to restore their strength, and give them a useful lifespan. Damaged, worn, or discoloured front teeth can be made aesthetic and strong enough to resist further wear, simply by crowning.
Implants
Report
This is one of the miracles of modern dentistry. Implants are successful artificial replacements for lost teeth, and can be used in a number of ways. To replace single missing teeth, where a single tooth has been lost, especially in an otherwise healthy remaining teeth. At the front of the mouth, a single implant replaces a lost tooth perfectly without using the adjacent teeth as anchors.
Periodontal Disease
Report
For some of us, it involves only the gum tissue, and the damage can be reversed and eliminated. For others, the damage is more extensive, the gum tissue recedes, and the supporting bone is lost. This eventually will lead to the loss of any teeth in this affected area. If the damage is minor, and professional care begun, the disease process can be controlled and eliminated.
