Henry Hyams were the vendor's solicitors. Due to lack of responsiveness, the back and forth between the solicitors took 4 months more than the initially estimated time. Thus missing both stamp duty holidays (31'st July and 31'st September) and costing us a good sum of money. The lack of transparency made it worse, there was no clear reason for the holdup. And as far as I can tell, the outstanding issues that spanned for the entire transaction period were the same (the delay was not caused due to new issues).

I used Henry Hyams for my conveyancing. They always responded quickly to any queries and were very helpful. I do not believe my house purchase would have gone through as quickly as it did, were it not for the service Henry Hyams (Michael Bush) provided. They chased the sellers solicitors and estate agents to make sure there were no delays. I would 100% use again.
