We have just had a two day break at this lovely hotel. Friendly staff, clean room and the food was delicious. We could not have asked for a better break away. The service from Natalia was amazing!! We are looking forward to our next visit.

Not great! Tired decor, confusing entrance. Staff not wearing masks. Food very average. We ordered two different types of tea and were given one pot of water to share with the tea bags on the side. Pasta dish not cooked well with some of the pasta stuck together. Popodom with curry very greasy. Sorry but would not recommend.

My wife and I showed up on a snowy night in January with our twin babies. The staff came out at 11pm, helped us in, made us comfortable, and gave us a beautiful room. Even brought us a sandwich and drinking chocolate. The view of the deer in the back garden in the morning was breathtaking. The food was excellent and we were treated like Royalty. This was my favorite stop in all of Britain. I loved it.

Stayed 2 nights with the dogs. The staff couldn't have been more dog friendly, even cooking sausages for them at breakfast. Great place

What an utterly dismal experience. On arrival we rejected the first room, booked with the advance notice we were bringing two dogs, because we could barely walk around the bed, it was so small, let alone put down two dog beds. The next and only room on offer had twin beds jammed under the eaves and was so gloomy no self-respecting ghost would have haunted it. No amount of grey paint - and there was a lot - could modernise what must have been the poor scullery maids' attic sleeping hole. A shower in a tiny bathroom cubicle, without anywhere to place one's bathing stuff, was so small that to bend

Always a nice stay here. Very beautiful grounds of 280 acres of forest with deer, red squirrels and salmon fishing on The Tay.
