It is difficult to rate an estate agent because there are so many variables when it comes to buying or renting a property, variables often outside the estate agents control. I would say that James did a great job at the beginning of our journey purchasing a property. They were knowledgable, answered all our questions. If they didn't know the answers, they would seek them out. They were also quite prompt when dealing with the early stages of the sale, such as sending letters and filling out forms. During the middle of the process, there wasn't much communication regarding the sale. We continuously

I originally bought my house via James 15 years ago and they were so helpful and professional I only ever considered them for the sale again all these years later. Consistent over all that time they have the same professional staff, giving the exact same high quality service and help from start to finish. I cannot praise or thank them enough especially given the extra stress in the current circumstances. Rented for five years with James Estate as the managing agents. Always a pleasure to deal with and problems/issues were dealt with in a timely and efficient manner. Communication was warm and friendly and in particular Sam Marsh in the lettings team was a pleasure to deal with. Estate agents often get a bad name but they are one of the good guys - would not hesitate to recommend and would deal with them again without hesitation.
